Special Education Teacher | Eagle Point, Oregon

Qualifications:
- Valid Oregon licensure/certification as a Special Education Teacher, School Psychologist (TSPC license required), or Board-Certified SLP. BCBAs with focused autism expertise and public education experience are also considered if they meet the experience criteria.
- Minimum of three years’ experience working directly with students on the autism spectrum across various grade and age levels.
- Depth of experience supporting students with a range of needs, from high-functioning individuals in general education settings to those with more significant impacts in self-contained environments.
- Experience conducting autism evaluations, using assessments to determine student needs and program impact.
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and documentation skills.
- Commitment to onsite, in-person services (this role does not support remote or hybrid models).
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support, consultation, and guidance for students, staff, and families regarding best practices for autism support.
- Complete appropriate autism evaluations, develop intervention plans, and monitor progress.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and adapt instruction and behavioral strategies.
- Serve as a resource for professional development and advocacy within the educational community.
