This full-time role for the 26-27 school year is ideal for certified Special Education Teachers eager for hands-on professional growth. You’ll serve high school aged students predominantly within the general education setting, building connections and supporting meaningful educational outcomes. The caseload is primarily students with OHI, Learning Disabilities, Autism, and Language Impairment—typically around 10-15 learners at a time.
Qualifications:
- Valid certification as a Special Education Teacher
- Experience with elementary and/or high school students
- Familiarity working with students with OHI, Learning Disabilities, Autism, or Language Impairment
- Commitment to inclusive education in a collaborative environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct instructional support within general education classrooms
- Develop and implement IEPs for a dynamic caseload
- Adapt lesson plans and provide accommodations to meet individual needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families
