What We’re Looking For:
- Valid Minnesota Special Education license or Administrator certification
- Master’s degree in Special Education or related field
- Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher and/or Director
- Deep expertise in Minnesota Special Education compliance, regulations, and reporting
- Skill in managing and completing extensive documentation and paperwork
- Proven ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with teachers, school leadership, and outside consultants
- High attention to detail, especially with compliance and record-keeping requirements
- Willingness to train and mentor others in areas where additional development is needed
Responsibilities:
- Oversee special education compliance at all program levels within the school
- Collaborate with external consultants and facilitate ongoing partnerships
- Provide consultative support to classroom teachers and coordinate with school administration
- Manage large volumes of required paperwork, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Serve as a subject matter expert on all aspects of Minnesota Special Education compliance
- Mentor staff and provide targeted training or support as necessary
- Engage stakeholders in continuous improvement and ensure student needs are met through proper procedures
