Special Education Teacher in Eden Prairie, MN

You’ll work alongside dedicated paraprofessional staff and behavioral aides, managing a caseload of approximately 20 students per class. Preferred Qualifications:
- Active Minnesota teaching license in Special Education (required)
- Experience supporting diverse learners and developing individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Strong communication skills to partner with families, support staff, and administrators
- Creative problem-solving abilities and adaptive instructional approaches
- Commitment to fostering inclusive, growth-oriented classroom cultures
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and small group instruction in alignment with students’ IEP goals
- Collaborate with paras, behavioral staff, and school teams for comprehensive student support
- Monitor progress, maintain documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
- Communicate regularly with families and community professionals
- For early childhood educators: conduct home visits to assess students’ needs and provide early intervention
