Special Education Teacher | Eden Prairie, Minnesota

Qualifications:
- Active Minnesota teaching license required
- Experience teaching in special education settings preferred
- Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and documentation
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with staff, therapists, and families
- Flexibility and problem-solving abilities in dynamic classroom environments
- Commitment to trauma-informed and culturally responsive teaching practices
Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver individualized instruction based on student needs
- Develop, monitor, and maintain compliant IEPs
- Track and report student progress
- Collaborate with paraprofessionals, therapists, and counselors
- Provide behavioral and emotional support tailored to each student
- Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment
- Participate in team meetings, IEP conferences, and parent communications
