Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification (Minnesota or eligible for reciprocity)
- Previous experience teaching students with a range of disabilities (mild/moderate to severe/profound)
- Strong knowledge of IEP processes, individualized instruction, and data-driven decision-making
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Dedication to creating nurturing, positive relationships with students and staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specially designed instruction to address students’ unique learning needs
- Develop, implement, and revise Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Regularly assess student progress and adjust teaching techniques accordingly
- Maintain accurate records and provide clear, ongoing communication with families and team members
- Participate in professional development and contribute to a collaborative, innovative school culture
