Special Education Teacher - Elk River, Minnesota

Key Qualifications:
- Current Minnesota Special Education Teaching License (Tier 3 or Tier 4 required)
- Experience supporting students with Emotional and Behavioral Disorders (EBD) is preferred
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction and behavioral support to students with EBD following IEP goals
- Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies to meet individual student needs
- Collaborate with fellow educators, support staff, and parents to ensure student success
- Maintain accurate records, progress monitoring, and data-driven documentation
- Engage in professional development to stay current on best practices in special education
