Qualifications and Experience
- Valid teaching license with a special education endorsement
- Experience in elementary and/or middle school resource classrooms is strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and compliance
- Skilled in differentiated instruction, classroom management, and progress monitoring
- Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities
- Flexibility and creativity in meeting diverse student needs
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students in your assigned classroom
- Deliver targeted instruction that accommodates a range of learning styles and abilities
- Collaborate with general educators, support staff, and families to ensure cohesive support for each student
- Assess student progress on a regular basis and adjust instructional strategies as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school policies and special education regulations
