Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification
- Strong background working with Autism and multiple disabilities
- Previous experience in a self-contained classroom setting preferred
- Experience managing an elementary caseload
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Passion for helping every student reach their fullest potential
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging instruction tailored to students’ unique learning needs
- Adapt curriculum and modify teaching strategies to enhance accessibility and inclusion
- Assess student performance and document progress
- Collaborate with support staff, therapists, and families to develop comprehensive educational programs
