Multiple openings are available:
- One Elementary Special Education Teacher (15-20 student caseload)
- One High School Special Education Teacher (15-20 student caseload)
- One Center-Based Middle School Special Education Teacher (4 student caseload)
Most support and instruction are provided through push-in services, collaborating closely with general education staff to deliver inclusive tailored learning experiences. More specific details regarding each position will be shared during the interview process.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Valid Special Education teaching license for Colorado (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience in elementary, middle, or high school special education settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
- Ability to adapt instruction and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Compassionate, flexible, and student-focused mindset
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage assigned caseloads in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Provide individualized and small group instruction primarily through push-in services
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
- Maintain thorough documentation and regularly communicate student progress
- Foster an inclusive, positive classroom environment
