Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification/license (state-specific requirements apply)
- Background in elementary, middle, or high school special education settings
- Experience managing IEPs and collaborating in inclusive learning environments
- Flexibility and adaptability in supporting a range of student needs
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction in a supportive, push-in service model
- Manage a caseload of 4–20 students, depending on assignment (elementary, high school, or center-based middle school)
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to deliver comprehensive support for student success
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment
