We are seeking dedicated Intervention Specialists for immediate contract openings through June 2027. This rewarding, in-person opportunity has a full-time Monday–Friday schedule (40 hours per week), working with Pre-K, Kindergarten, and 10th Grade Math students who have varied disabilities. You’ll play a crucial role in tailoring educational experiences to foster success for each unique learner.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Special Education Teacher certification, valid in Ohio
- Demonstrated experience as an Intervention Specialist or Special Education Teacher
- Expertise in developing, implementing, and monitoring Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Strong collaboration skills for teamwork with general education staff, related service providers, and families
- Knowledge of special education law, compliance, and best instructional practices
- Commitment to ongoing professional growth and maintaining accurate records
Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction adapted to individual student needs
- Create, review, and revise IEPs in compliance with special education guidelines
- Regularly assess student progress and make necessary instructional adjustments
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to support student achievement and well-being
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and school-based teams
- Maintain thorough, organized documentation for each assigned student
- Foster a welcoming, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
