Key Qualifications:
- Valid New Hampshire Teaching License with Special Education endorsement
- Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher in resource or self-contained settings preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
- Effective communication and collaborative skills for case management and team support
- Commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment for students with varying needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction and support to students in resource room or self-contained programs
- Manage caseloads of approximately 10-16 students, ensuring individualized educational goals are met
- Complete required student evaluations and write comprehensive reports
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, collaborating with staff and families
- Oversee case management responsibilities, including progress monitoring and documentation
- Support positive behavioral interventions and strategies within the classroom setting
This contract position runs from September 1, 2026, through June 16, 2027, with a schedule of 32.5-35 hours per week during school hours (7:30 AM - 2:20 PM).
