ProCare Therapy is seeking two dedicated and qualified Special Education Teachers for Special Day Class (SDC) classrooms during the 2026–2027 school year in Fairfield, CA. These full-time positions offer the opportunity to support middle school students in a structured and collaborative learning environment.
Work Schedule:
Full-Time
6.75 Hours per Day
30-Minute Duty-Free Lunch
8:15 AM – 3:30 PM
2026–2027 School Year
Middle School SDC Caseload
Maximum Caseload: 16 Students
Qualifications:
Valid California CTC Mild/Moderate Education Specialist Credential required
Experience working with Special Day Class students preferred
Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
Knowledge of special education compliance, IEP development, and implementation
Key Responsibilities:
Provide specialized instruction aligned with IEP goals and California state standards
Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Collaborate with families, related service providers, administrators, and general education staff
Implement evidence-based academic, behavioral, and functional interventions
Support students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth
Collect and maintain accurate student progress data and documentation
Create a structured, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
