Special Education Teacher
ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher for a contract assignment in Felton, Delaware for the 2026-2027 School Year. This is a great opportunity to support students while making a meaningful impact in a collaborative educational environment.
Position Details
Job Type: Full-Time / Contract
Schedule: 37.5 Hours/Week
Start Date: 2026-2027 School Year
Compensation: Competitive hourly pay with weekly direct deposit ($36+/hour depending on experience)
Responsibilities
Provide specialized instruction to students with disabilities in accordance with IEP goals
Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs)
Collaborate with general education staff, related service providers, and families
Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet student needs
Support a positive and inclusive learning environment
Qualifications
Active Delaware Special Education Teaching License
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field
