Position Details:
- Full-time Special Education Teacher opportunity
- August 2026 – June 2027
- 32.5 hours per week
- Junior/Senior High School setting
- Caseload of approximately 15-20 students
- Combination of co-taught and resource classroom services
- School hours: 7:20 AM – 2:40 PM
- Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and support staff
- Develop and implement IEPs and individualized instructional strategies
Requirements:
- Active Michigan Special Education Teaching License required
- Experience supporting students with diverse learning needs preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
- Ability to work effectively in both co-teaching and resource settings
