Key Qualifications:
- Active Minnesota teaching license in EBD (Emotional and Behavioral Disorders), ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorders), or ABS (Academic and Behavioral Strategist)
- Experience working with at-risk high school students
- Skilled collaborator who communicates effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Proficient in implementing positive behavior support strategies
- Ability to adapt and innovate to meet individual learning needs
- Flexibility to work within a dynamic high school environment
- Candidates must provide both a current MN teaching license and an updated resume with their application. Support for Out of Field Licensure Placement is available if needed.
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging instruction and support for 9th-12th grade students in a specialized educational community
- Develop and implement IEPs, monitor student progress, and make data-driven adjustments
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to create a positive and structured classroom environment
- Support students in both academic and behavioral growth, championing equity and inclusion
- Manage classroom routines and foster positive relationships with students
