Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Georgia teaching certificate with Special Education Adapted Curriculum endorsement
- Experience or strong interest working with students in middle or elementary grades
- Ability to create and maintain a supportive, structured classroom environment
- Skill in adapting curriculum and instructional methods to individual student needs
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with families and staff
- Commitment to fostering student independence and social-emotional growth
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized lesson plans based on student IEPs
- Utilize a variety of strategies to promote academic and personal development
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with district and state requirements
