Join a collaborative team dedicated to helping young learners reach their full potential! We are currently seeking a full-time Preschool Special Education Teacher to work with children ages 3-5 in both integrated and self-contained classroom settings.
Start Date: September 8th 2026
Schedule
- Full-Time
- Monday-Friday
- 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM
- School-year position with a 6-week summer program
What You'll Do
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) that support each student's unique learning needs.
- Provide engaging, developmentally appropriate instruction aligned with New York State Next Generation Learning Standards.
- Collaborate with speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and other multidisciplinary team members to provide comprehensive student support.
- Supervise and mentor classroom support staff to ensure a positive and effective learning environment.
- Build meaningful relationships with students and families while fostering academic, social, and emotional growth.
Classroom Options
- Integrated Preschool Classrooms: Up to 18 students
- Self-Contained Preschool Classrooms: Up to 12 students
Qualifications
- Required: New York State Certification in Special Education and Students with Disabilities (Birth-Grade 2)
- Passion for working with young children with diverse learning needs.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Compensation for this position ranges from $24.25 to $48.25. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
