Step into an exciting opportunity for the 26/27 school year as a full-time Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) teacher within a supportive educational environment. Use your expertise and passion for making a difference in early childhood and special education to positively impact K-12 students, working Monday through Friday for a total of 35 hours each week.
Qualifications:
- Valid and current Colorado teaching certificate for Special Education
- Experience or strong interest in Early Childhood Special Education
- Ability to design and adapt individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Skilled in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, families, and school staff
- Comfortable managing diverse caseloads across K-12 grade levels
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective lessons tailored to students’ unique abilities and needs
- Create, review, and maintain comprehensive IEPs in compliance with state regulations
- Foster an inclusive, engaging, and supportive classroom environment
- Regularly assess student growth and adapt instructional strategies accordingly
- Partner with families and support staff to set goals and encourage student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP and team meetings as needed
