Qualifications & Experience:
- Current valid SPED (Special Education) teaching license
- CDE (Colorado Department of Education) certification
- Experience with a range of disabilities and learning needs

- Previous experience in school-based special education settings preferred
- Ability to adapt instructional strategies to individual student needs
- Passion for working with children and fostering their academic growth
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs
- Deliver instruction in both individual and group settings, adapting teaching methods as necessary
- Collaborate with general education teachers, school staff, and families to support student success
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing detailed reports and recommendations
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing training
- Manage and organize documentation in compliance with regulations
- Travel between assigned schools as needed (mileage reimbursed)
