Key Qualifications:
- Active Michigan Teaching Certificate with SM, SE, SA, or SV endorsement.
- Either a Master's Degree and approval as a Teacher Consultant OR 3+ years of successful special education teaching experience in Michigan.
- In-depth knowledge of IDEA, MARSE, and the IEP process.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support the development and implementation of IEPs, 504 Plans, METs, and student evaluations.
- Lead interventions, behavior support plans, and compliance efforts.
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service teams.
- Oversee MTSS and consistent progress monitoring for students.
