This contract opportunity spans from July 1, 2026, to September 11, 2026, with working hours from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM. While your home base will be at NOCO, you’ll travel to various educational settings throughout Hanover and parts of Adams County, making a difference in children’s lives each day.
What You Bring:
- Current, active Pennsylvania teaching certification specifically for Special Education—please submit with your resume
- Experience working with pre-school children with special needs preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Adaptability; able to adjust to different instructional environments and meet students where they are
- Reliable transportation for consistent travel to different sites in the Hanover and Adams County area
- Ability to create engaging, individualized lesson plans supporting IEP goals
- Comfort using technology for progress tracking and reporting
What You’ll Do:
- Provide itinerant special education support to pre-school students across multiple educational sites
- Assess students’ needs, develop and implement IEPs, and track progress
- Partner with teachers, service providers, and families to ensure each child receives appropriate interventions
- Document services accurately and maintain timely communication with all stakeholders

- Participate in professional development and team meetings as required
