Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Pennsylvania Special Education Educator Certification (required)
- Prior experience supporting students with autism in a school or classroom setting
- Expertise in designing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with families and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to foster an inclusive, positive, and structured classroom environment
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet diverse student needs
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based instruction for students receiving autistic support services
- Develop and maintain individualized education programs tailored to each student’s needs
- Collect and analyze student progress data to inform instruction
- Partner with colleagues, related service providers, and parents/guardians to ensure holistic student support
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and school activities as needed
