Desired Skills and Experience:
- Valid teaching license with certification in Special Education
- Experience or training in working with mild-to-moderate disabilities
- Familiarity with differentiated instruction strategies
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for working alongside aides and ABA professionals
- Knowledgeable in behavior management and individualized education plans (IEPs)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, individualized instruction in a self-contained setting
- Adapt lessons to meet a range of academic and behavioral needs among students
- Implement and monitor IEP goals, updating plans in partnership with the multidisciplinary team
