Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teaching license/certification.
- Experience supporting students at the elementary and/or middle school level.
- Proven ability to deliver both push-in and pull-out special education services.
- Strong collaborative skills—work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families.
- Knowledgeable about current best practices in special education and IEP implementation.
- Effective communicator with excellent organizational skills.
- Committed to creating a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and small group instruction based on students’ IEP goals.
- Adapt and modify curriculum materials to meet diverse learning needs.
- Collect and analyze student progress data.
- Collaborate with general education teachers and other support staff.
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development.
- Maintain compliance with state and federal special education regulations.
