Requirements for this position include:
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Special Education endorsement
- Experience working with elementary students preferred
- Strong classroom management, collaboration, and communication skills

Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Adapting lessons and instruction to ensure accessibility and engagement for all learners
- Working closely with the classroom paraeducator and other school staff to support student success
- Maintaining detailed documentation and progress monitoring in line with state and district requirements
- Communicating regularly with families regarding student progress and goals
