Requirements:
- Valid South Carolina Special Education Teacher License (Multi-categorical or required certifications/endorsements)
- EC Cert/endorsement required
- Proven experience working with students in special education settings: moderate/severe/moderate classrooms, co-taught resource rooms, self-contained settings, and early childhood
- Comfortable in onsite positions (virtual/VOCO may be considered closer to school start)

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide instruction in special settings:
- Elementary (8:30-3:35): Moderate classrooms to co-taught resource rooms
- Middle School (7:30-2:45): Multi-categorical self-contained classrooms
- High School (8:30-3:35): Moderate/special settings
- PreK (7:30-2:00): Early childhood special education
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and families to meet diverse student needs
- Create a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment
- Track and report student progress toward academic and behavioral goals
