Special Education Teacher - Hanover, Pennsylvania

This position covers the academic year from August 18, 2026, through May 27, 2027, with an onsite schedule from 7:45 AM to 3:15 PM, Monday through Friday. The setting features a collaborative team atmosphere, providing essential resources and continuous support so you can focus on delivering exceptional education and care.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Pennsylvania teaching certificate is required
- Experience or strong interest working in Autistic Support educational environments
- Commitment to individualized instruction, inclusion, and differentiated classroom strategies
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt and foster a positive, structured classroom atmosphere
Core Responsibilities:
- Delivering instruction and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) in Autistic Support classrooms
- Collaborating with PCAs and other faculty members to support student learning and social development
- Monitoring student progress and adapting instructional techniques as needed
- Maintaining detailed documentation and communication with families, support staff, and administration
- Cultivating a safe, nurturing, and structured environment that supports every student’s needs
