Qualifications:
- Active Texas Teaching Certifications required
- Must possess a Special Education EC-12 certification
- In addition, you must also have at least one of the following certifications: EC-6 Core Subjects, 4-8 Generalist, or a 9-12 subject-area certificate
- Experience working with students of varying exceptionalities and grade levels preferred
- Strong communication, adaptability, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide specially designed instruction in alignment with each student’s needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
- Monitor, assess, and document student progress
- Participate in professional development and orientation sessions
