Special Education Teacher in Hillside, IL

Qualifications:
- Current Illinois General Education and Special Education teaching certifications required (pending certification also considered)
- Previous teaching experience in special education or inclusive settings is strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of IEP processes and special education law
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Passion for creating equitable, engaging learning environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide instruction and support for students with diverse learning needs
- Adapt curriculum to meet student goals and IEP requirements
- Collaborate with staff, families, and specialists for student success
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records
- Support social, emotional, and academic development of all students in your care
