Step into a flexible substitute position supporting Special Education classrooms across a variety of ages—from Early Childhood through High School. This strictly on-call role requires a responsive professional ready to step in when coverage needs arise, whether due to planned teacher absences or last-minute call-outs.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota Special Education Teaching Certification (must be attached with resume for consideration)
- Experience with diverse student populations and a range of special education needs preferred
- Adaptability to teach and manage classes from early childhood through high school
- Ability to work on an as-needed, per diem basis
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide instructional support and classroom management in the absence of a permanent or contracted Special Education Teacher
- Follow provided lesson plans and accommodate the unique learning needs of students
- Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment for students with diverse abilities
- Maintain accurate attendance and documentation as required by the district
- Collaborate effectively with other staff and follow established protocols to ensure continuity for students
