Special Education Teacher in Hugo, MN

Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Minnesota Special Education License in EBD, ASD, or ABS
- Experience supporting at-risk youth is highly preferred
- Proficiency in developing and implementing behavioral interventions
- Strong ability to work in a team setting and collaborate with colleagues, students, and families
- Willingness to pursue Out of Field Licensure Placement if applicable
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction and support to 9th-12th grade students in a community school setting
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to deliver optimal student outcomes
- Foster positive relationships and a safe, inclusive classroom environment
- Monitor student progress, adjusting strategies as needed to meet academic and behavioral goals
