Special Education Teacher - Indio, CA
Step into an essential support role as a clerical specialist, contributing to the smooth and effective processing of Medi-Cal documentation within an educational setting. Qualifications & Experience:
- Solid track record handling and processing Medi-Cal requests, specifically within an administrative or clerical context.
- Familiarity with Medicaid protocols and random time survey monitoring.
- Strong organizational talents, attention to detail, and ability to follow structured procedures.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to verify compliance and timelines among staff and team members.
- Bilingual in Spanish is highly preferred, enhancing your ability to collaborate with a diverse community.
- No specialty licenses or certifications are required—just a thorough understanding of Medi-Cal and a commitment to accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process incoming Medi-Cal documentation and requests accurately and efficiently.
- Monitor Medicaid random time surveys as they arrive; confirm staff and special education team compliance with procedural and timeliness requirements.
- Facilitate clear communication with team members to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely submissions.
- Attend monthly meetings with Medi-Cal representatives to verify that all procedures, records, and timekeeping practices are properly maintained.
