What you’ll bring:
- Valid certification as a Special Education Teacher
- Experience working with K-12 students, preferably in a special education setting
- Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to partner with parents, colleagues, and support staff
- Patience, creativity, and adaptability to meet the unique needs of each learner
- Ability to maintain documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
Key responsibilities:
- Individualize instruction for each student on your caseload to support academic and social-emotional growth

- Work closely with other educators and specialists to address a range of student needs
- Monitor, assess, and document student progress, making adjustments as necessary
