Key Qualifications:
- Active FL ESE certification plus K-6 or PK-3 General Education certification required
- Previous self-contained classroom experience essential
- Ability to lead a classroom with students with varying exceptionalities and learning levels
- Willingness and eligibility to obtain Florida school district fingerprint clearance and JLA badge
- Availability for virtual prescreen interviews and internal eligibility interview
Core Responsibilities:
- Serve as the lead educator in a self-contained ESE classroom (primarily elementary)
- Provide individualized and group instruction to support diverse learners
- Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with support staff and families
- Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment
