Qualifications:
- Current Idaho State Teaching Certificate
- Idaho Exceptional Child Certificate required
- Special Education endorsement
- Prior experience in an educational resource center setting strongly preferred
- Comfortable assisting with toileting and personal care needs
- Eager to collaborate with teachers, therapists, staff, and families
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and small-group instruction tailored to students’ unique needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in accordance with state and federal regulations
- Collaborate closely with paraprofessionals and related service providers
- Support students’ academic, social-emotional, and functional development
- Adapt lesson plans and instructional strategies for students with varied abilities
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom community that values diversity and growth
- Communicate progress to families, ensuring strong home–school partnerships
