Pre-School Special Education Teacher | Johnstown, Ohio

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement IEPs for preschool-aged students (ages 3-5), ensuring individualized, effective learning strategies
- Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning needs
- Collaborate with related service providers, specialists, and families to foster an inclusive classroom
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and maintain compliance with state and federal special education policies
- Provide direct and consultative services in a travel or on-site setting as required
Requirements:
- Active Ohio Department of Education (ODE) certification in Special Education
- Experience working with young children (3-5 years) in a school or preschool setting
- Strong background in special education, IEP development, classroom management, and instructional intervention
- Willingness to travel within the region or work on-site as needed (virtual/VOCO model implementation planned for the future)
- Exceptional communication, organization, and collaboration skills
