- Demonstrated experience or strong knowledge in special education practices, resource, co-teaching, or self-contained settings
- Comfortable collaborating with diverse teams and families
- Ability to tailor instructional strategies to meet varied student needs
- Excellent communication, adaptability, and organizational skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) aligned with student needs
- Provide direct instruction and support to students in resource, co-teaching, or self-contained settings
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, administrators, and support staff to foster an inclusive environment
- Maintain accurate documentation and monitor student progress
- Engage families in their child’s education and maintain open lines of communication
