Position Overview
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teachers for the upcoming 2026–2027 school year in Raytown, Missouri. Opportunities are available across all grade levels (K–12) in a variety of settings, including:
- Self-Contained Classrooms
- Resource/Inclusion Support
- Co-Teaching (Coteach) Environments
In this role, you will work closely with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams to create supportive and engaging learning environments tailored to diverse student needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Special Education or related field
- Active Missouri Special Education Teaching Certification
- Experience in school-based settings preferred
- Strong collaboration and classroom management skills
