Elementary Grades K - 5 Special Education Teacher in Lyle, WA

Qualifications:
- Current and active state teaching license required
- Endorsement in Special Education preferred
- Experience with elementary (K-5), middle (6-8), and high school (9-12) age groups strongly valued
- Comfort and experience with self-contained, resource, or special day class settings
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt instruction to meet a range of educational and behavioral needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs
- Deliver engaging instruction in academic and/or functional life skills
- Collaborate with general education and special services staff
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting plans as needed
- Foster a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment
