Qualifications:
- Valid GaPSC Teaching Certificate
- Special Education and General Education Endorsements covering Pre-K
- Prior experience with early childhood special education strongly preferred
- Comfortable assisting children with toileting/diapering and feeding
- Knowledgeable in managing and supporting non-verbal or minimally verbal students
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide classroom instruction and individualized support for Pre-K students (ages 3–5) with varying needs
- Assist with basic care including toileting and feeding
- Implement individualized education plans and track student progress
- Use evidence-based strategies to encourage communication and positive behavior
