In this full-time, school-based position, you’ll primarily serve Kindergarten through 2nd-grade students. This assignment, running from July 29th, 2026 through May 21st, 2027, includes pre-planning days and provides a manageable caseload—no more than 10 students—with current expectations of minimal behavioral challenges and no anticipated toileting responsibilities. Occasional opportunities to support upper-grade instructional segments may be included.
Qualifications:
- Active GaPSC Teaching Credential
- P-12 Special Education General Curriculum Endorsement (additional endorsements may be requested)
- Prior experience working with elementary students is preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and small-group instruction to students with diverse learning needs
- Collaborate with general education staff, specialists, and families to implement IEPs
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings
