Special Education Teacher | La Quinta, California
Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting the important work of school-based Medi-Cal programs. This clerical position plays a vital role in ensuring smooth operation and accurate processing for school Medicaid initiatives. Located near the vibrant community of La Quinta, CA, you’ll work full-time through the end of June, with your assignment starting at the beginning of September following board approval.

Key Experience and Skills:
- Demonstrated experience in processing Medi-Cal (Medicaid) requests
- Skilled in handling time-sensitive paperwork and monitoring Medicaid random time surveys
- Experience verifying documentation with school staff and special education team members
- Comfortable organizing monthly meetings with Medi-Cal representatives to ensure compliance
- Strong understanding of Medicaid procedures
- Excellent organizational and follow-up abilities
- Spanish/English bilingual communication skills are highly preferred
In this position, your day-to-day responsibilities will include coordinating and tracking Medicaid random time surveys, providing guidance on correct procedural submission, and collaborating directly with staff to support accurate record-keeping. You’ll also facilitate monthly compliance meetings and serve as a helpful resource to ensure all timekeeping and procedural standards are being met.
