Key Qualifications:
- Ohio teaching certification is preferred; however, special education teachers without full licensure will be considered.
- Authorization to work in the United States is required (sponsorship is not available).
- Previous experience in special education settings is highly valued.
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills are essential.
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and group instruction to a caseload of 39 special education students, tailoring strategies to meet each child’s unique learning needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop and implement effective individualized education programs (IEPs).
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and meet reporting requirements for compliance.
- Engage in classroom and resource room teaching during a school day that runs from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., following a morning breakfast period from 7:30–7:55 a.m.
- Participate in professional development and stay current with best practices in special education.
