Key Qualifications:
- Valid Kansas K-12 teaching license in Special Education (required)
- Strong background in developing and implementing IEPs for a variety of exceptionality categories
- Ability to travel between multiple school sites within the designated area
- Comfortable working independently, with strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families
- Experience providing support, resources, and consultation to general education staff
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and small group special education instruction across multiple school environments
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in accordance with state and federal guidelines
- Serve as a resource and consultant for school staff and parents to promote student inclusion and success
- Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and compliance records
- Regularly travel between assigned school campuses to provide consistent support
