Key Qualifications:
- Valid Teacher Certification in Special Education or related area
- Experience or strong interest in working with preschool-aged children with autism
- Knowledge of early childhood development and individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Dedication to fostering positive learning environments for young learners
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a Special Education Case Manager for a caseload ranging from 4 to 10 students (subject to change as new students qualify)
- Develop and implement individualized education plans tailored to the unique needs of each child
- Collaborate closely with support staff, therapists, and families to ensure holistic progress
- Deliver specialized curriculum and interventions designed for preschoolers with autism
- Collect and maintain data to monitor student progress and adjust strategies as needed
- Participate in meetings, assessments, and team planning
- Fulfill compliance and record-keeping requirements as mandated
Position Details:
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- Start ASAP upon HR clearance; position extends through May 2027
- Single school site—provide consistency and foster strong student connections
