Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide specialized instruction to students in both resource and adapted curriculum environments
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Work alongside general education staff to promote access and inclusion within the school community
- Assess, track, and report student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
- Communicate regularly with families, staff, and support specialists
- Foster a safe, welcoming, and positive classroom atmosphere that encourages growth
- Support the transition of students between grade levels and instructional settings
