What’s Needed:
- Current, active Michigan CI or ASD Special Education licensure (please provide proof of licensure)
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or a closely related field
- Experience teaching or supporting students in ASD, CI, or resource room settings preferred
- Strong ability to individualize instruction and collaborate on IEP plans
- Excellent communication, classroom management, and organizational skills
- Commitment to supporting students’ academic, social, and emotional growth
What to Expect:
- Full-time schedule throughout the 2026-2027 school year
- Serve students in two elementary ASD-CI rooms and one resource room
- Develop, implement, and track individualized educational plans (IEPs)
- Modify curriculum and instruction based on each student’s needs
- Build trusting relationships with families and team members
- Foster an inclusive, engaging, and safe learning environment
