Special Education Teacher | Longmont, Colorado

Qualifications and Experience:
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is required.
- At least one year of classroom experience in a school setting.
- CDE license in Special Education, or currently in the process of obtaining it (copies must accompany your application materials).
- Flexible, adaptable, and eager to work as a supportive team member.
- Strong communication skills and commitment to fostering an equitable, inclusive classroom.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group instruction tailored to students’ IEPs.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff.
- Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in accordance with federal and state special education regulations.
- Engage frequently with students and families, building rapport and fostering trust.
- Develop creative, culturally responsive lesson plans that inspire engagement.
- Participate in meetings, professional development, and school-based activities.
This role includes:
